Visit Free 24/7 access to our office gyms (Ortigas and Makati) with a free physical fitness trainer Exclusive Emapta Lifestyle perks (hotel and restaurant discounts, and more) Unlimited opportunities for employee referral incentives across the organization Standard government and Emapta benefits Total of 20 annual leaves to be used on your own discretion (including 5 credits convertible to cash) Fun engagement activities for employees Mentorship and exposure to global leaders and teams Career growth opportunities Diverse and supportive work environment Your Expertise & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent a plus) Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting or finance Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software (Netsuite, Blackline, Bill.com) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup Excellent verbal and written communication Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset What You'll Do Every Day General Ledger Management Record financial transactions accurately in the appropriate accounts, including journal entries for sales, expenses, accruals, and adjustments Maintain integrity of the general ledger by ensuring all data is categorized, classified, and supported with proper documentation Support month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reviewing for discrepancies, and assisting with month-end reporting Banking and Cash Management Process daily cash transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, ensuring accurate recording in the financial system and general ledger Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify alignment between recorded cash balances and bank statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies Record journal entries related to cash activities, including bank fees, interest income, and necessary adjustments Revenue Management Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with company policies and accounting standards Review customer contracts and agreements to align billing and revenue recognition with contract terms Participate in revenue-related month-end close activities by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Prepare revenue reports and dashboards and analyze trends, variances, and key performance metrics to support decision-making Financial Reporting Support Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by gathering data and performing necessary calculations Ensure compliance of financial reports with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies, verifying accuracy and consistency of transactions Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal review and external audits Reconciliations Perform regular bank reconciliations by comparing internal cash records with bank statements and resolving discrepancies Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other balance sheet accounts to maintain accuracy in financial reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues identified during reconciliation processes Transition Support Participate in transitioning accounting functions from an outsourced partner to internal operations during the first 90 days Assist in integrating new accounting systems by supporting data migration and ensuring process continuity Collaborate with the finance team to document new processes and support training for team members on updated procedures About Our Client Our client is a leading provider of intelligence, data, and proprietary solutions that empower Federal, Defense, and State & Local government markets .
