The Technical Business Analyst will join the Information Technology (IT) team.Reporting to the Senior Technical Business Analyst, this position will assist in maintaining, management and ownership of our core line-of-business application. It is responsible for supporting the IT environment for all technical/integration and continuous improvement support including: business requirements elicitation and analysis, change management workflow, application support, application customisation, workflow development and data management.

It involves working closely with key stakeholders from across the organisation and vendors/partners to improve business efficiency and productivity, reduce operational costs and be the face of IT for our core business platforms.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • L2/L3 Application support
  • Application owner and champion
  • Platform continuous improvement champion
  • Data management
  • Business requirements development and use case analysis
  • User story development
  • Standard operating procedure development
  • Training material development and training
  • Work closely with the Business Optimisation team to identify system improvements
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to deliver business benefits and achieve business requirements and outcomes
  • As required/requested, be prepared to carry out other duties and responsibilities
  • Be prepared to assist other team members as required/requested
  • As required, mentor and become involved in on-the-job training of others
  • Participate in any relevant training programs as requested by the company
  • May require working outside normal business hours as and when required to meet deadlines/objectives
Requirements

• Senior-level skill set - the staff will not directly manage the team but will assist and oversee the 3 System Engr.

• Ideally with project management and product rollout experience

• Insurance experience is a plus
