We're hiring a tech-savvy, deadline-oriented, and highly organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to help keep our numbers in order and our operations running smoothly. This role is ideal if you're reliable, detail-focused, and confident with digital tools to stay on top of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue invoices, receipts, and Statements of Account (SOAs) using accounting software.
  • Accounts Receivable & Payable: Track client payments, monitor overdue accounts, process vendor bills/AP, schedule payments, and maintain clean aging.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations on schedule.
  • Liaise with our external accountant for tax compliance.
  • Maintain well-organized, cloud-based records and uphold internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and tax system is an asset.
  • Comfortable with online tools, digital records, and remote collaboration.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and discreet with sensitive information.

Work Schedule

  • Part-time: 15–20 hours per week.
  • Some overlap with Canadian office hours is required.
