Position Overview

We're seeking a QuickBooks Online-certified part-time bookkeeper to manage our financial operations. This role is key to keeping our records accurate, invoices on track, and financial reports clean for our US-based CPA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date books in QuickBooks Online
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable (invoices, payments, collections)
  • Process contractor payroll via Remitly and other platforms
  • Generate financial reports and P&L statements for CPA review
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
  • Track project-based revenue and expenses
  • Coordinate with US-based CPA for compliance and tax prep

Required Qualifications

  • QuickBooks Online certification (proof required)
  • 3–5 years bookkeeping experience
  • Strong background in AP/AR and payroll
  • Familiarity with US accounting principles
  • Experience with international payments (Remitly a plus)
  • Strong financial reporting skills
  • Excellent English communication
  • Availability during PST business hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with US-based creative agencies
  • Familiarity with project-based accounting
  • Knowledge of multi-currency transactions
  • Track record of reducing overdue invoices
