Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper & Tax Preparer to join our team. This role is essential in managing financial records, preparing tax documents, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts, and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records through bookkeeping practices.
  • Assist clients with financial sales inquiries and provide guidance on financial concepts.
  • Utilize accounting software to manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate reporting.

Experience

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, tax preparation, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with financial software and accounting systems (QuickBooks)
  • Excellent math skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
