I. Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Reviews and checks PHIC and OWWA forms for transmittal.

  2. Processes forms and patients for direct filing of claims to PHIC due to late submission.

  3. Posts PHIC and OWWA payments in the logbook.

  4. Reprocesses return claims of patients.

  5. Prepares mandatory monthly Hospital Report (MMHR) for submission to PHIC.

  6. Entertains calls regarding inquiry on Direct Payment of Claims and other matters related to Philhealth.

  7. Requests payment for Medicare fund.

  8. Entertains patients' relatives with problems regarding PHIC and OWWA claims.

  9. Follow up from Philhealth status of transmitted documents.

  10. Performs other duties as may be requested by management.
