Job Summary: The Production and Distribution Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes and distribution activities to ensure efficient production, timely delivery, and quality standards are met. This role involves managing production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring the seamless distribution of finished garments to clients or retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet company targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines.
  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Manage and supervise production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Plan and oversee the distribution logistics, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and adjust production schedules accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and distribution activities for reporting and analysis.
  • Manage budgets related to production and distribution operations, seeking cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
  • Proven experience in production management within the garments or textile industry.
  • Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics.
  • Strong understanding of quality control and processes.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in company systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
