Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of the UPVC/Aluminum doors and windows business, including production, sales, supply chain, and customer service. This role ensures smooth factory operations, quality control, and efficient project execution while meeting business objectives and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Factory & Production Management:

  • Oversee the manufacturing process of UPVC and aluminum doors and windows, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely production.
  • Implement production plans, allocate resources, and optimize workflow to maximize output.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Develop strategies to reduce waste and enhance production efficiency.

Sales & Business Operations:

  • Coordinate with the sales team to align production with demand and customer orders.
  • Support business development by providing insights into production capabilities and cost structures.
  • Assist in pricing strategies and contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to enhance the company's positioning.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management:

  • Manage procurement of raw materials (UPVC profiles, aluminum, glass, hardware, etc.) to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and track material usage to minimize wastage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Ensure all products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Implement quality control procedures to reduce defects and enhance durability.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of factory operations.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management:

  • Supervise and lead production workers, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Provide training programs to improve employee skills and performance.
  • Enforce company policies and ensure a safe working environment.

Project Execution & Customer Satisfaction:

  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery and installation of products.
  • Address customer complaints, resolve operational issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor installation teams to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Reporting & Performance Analysis:

  • Prepare operational reports, including production output, efficiency, and cost analysis.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing manufacturing or factory operations, preferably in UPVC/Aluminum doors and windows.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, materials, and quality control measures.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in handling large-scale projects and client negotiations.
  • Knowledge of automation and modern manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills for budgeting and cost control.
  • Understanding of local regulations and industry standards.
