DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

  • 2–3 years of recent experience in Australian residential mortgage loan assessment (required).
  • Proven delegated approval authority with an Australian-based company.
  • Strong knowledge of credit policies, lending processes, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex applications and provide effective solutions.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess and process loan applications, including new mortgages, personal loans, and variations.
  • Execute lending decisions in line with credit policies and approval limits or escalate when needed.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality service to internal lending officers, brand partners, third-party networks, and internal teams.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to lending officers, partners, and relationship managers.
  • Contribute to achieving individual and team KPIs, SLAs, and monthly targets.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across relevant databases (e.g., e-mms).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and lending legislation.
  • Collaborate with team members to support roster requirements and meet customer expectations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.
