KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete initial credit assessment and prepare opportunity for Brokers first assessment
  • This includes servicing, credit checks, liability checks, conduct issues etc
  • Work with assigned broker around loan Strategy
  • Review and prepare loan applications
  • Enter data into CRM system
  • Assist at times with document collection, file naming, and secure storage
  • Track application progress and follow up on outstanding tasks
  • Liaise with the Brokers and support team as needed
  • Provide admin and processing support to help ensure timely approvals
  • Assist with general back-office duties related to lending and compliance
  • Assist with loan variations, top-ups, and post-settlement inquiries
  • Review and assess borrower financials, income documents, liabilities, and credit history (as required)
  • Conduct serviceability and affordability calculations per lender criteria under broker direction
  • Identify and assess financial risk
  • Recommend suitable loan structures

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Australian mortgage (loan processing, broker support, or credit analysis)
  • Familiarity with ApplyOnline, MyCRM, Mercury, SalesTrekker, Broker Engine, or similar CRMs
  • Strong understanding of the Australian lending policies
  • Excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
