Tax Manager

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the overall tax and customs strategy, planning, and compliance of the company and its related parties
- Manage the preparation and filing of all tax returns to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance;
- Liaise with the purchasing and importations team to ensure accurate and timely payment of customs-related charges
- Manage all Customs and Tax audits and recommends settlement
- Responsible for transfer pricing planning, documentation, and compliance
- Maintain systems and procedures to ensure the company is audit-ready
- Monitor current and impending changes on all tax and customs regulations and perform an assessment of the impact on the company.
- Manage the relationship with external tax advisors for compliance and other consulting activities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, preferably CPA
- 3-5 years professional experience in a Tax Manager capacity
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the tax and customs code
- Strong interpersonal, leadership skills required.
- Must be team-player / able to work well and develop a good working relationship with others
- Ability to identify and communicate problems and discuss various solutions
