Gaisano Mall of Davao is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Tax Manager who will lead the company's tax and customs strategy, compliance, and audit readiness across all business units.


Key Responsibilities

As the Tax Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement the company's overall tax and customs strategy, planning, and compliance for GMall and related entities
  • Oversee the preparation and on-time filing of all tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Work closely with the Purchasing and Importation teams to guarantee timely and correct customs-related payments
  • Manage and handle all BIR and Customs audits, provide recommendations for settlement, and ensure compliance
  • Lead the company's transfer pricing planning, documentation, and reporting
  • Establish and maintain strong systems, controls, and procedures to ensure audit readiness at all times
  • Keep the company updated on current and upcoming tax and customs regulations, evaluating impacts and compliance needs
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with external tax advisors and consultants

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
  • 3–5 years experience in a Tax Manager or equivalent leadership capacity
  • Experience in the retail industry is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Tax Code and Customs regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Strong analytical ability to identify issues and recommend effective solution
