The principal function of Accounting & Budget Officer/Bookkeeper is to be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, and supporting the financial operations of the organization. The Accounting & Budget Officer/Bookkeeper will work closely with management and other departments to analyze financial data, create budgets and forecasts, and provide recommendations on financial strategies.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to provide management with insights into the organization's financial performance.
  • Prepare, manage and coordinate the annual budgets, ensuring that they are accurate and aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Optimize financial functions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing and bank reconciliations ensuring that financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform bank errands such as deposits, withdrawal, request for bank certificates, or submitting documents.
  • Prepare vouchers and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the organization's financial needs are met and to establish and monitor spending limits and budgets.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, records, including ledgers, cash flow projections daily transactions, journal entries and management reports.
  • Ensure that financial statements are properly recorded and reported.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Process and reconcile transactions related to inventory, assets, and liabilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Provide support during audits, including but not limited to documentation preparation and data analysis.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in financial regulations

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting, budgeting and bookkeeping.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements and reports.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely information.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks or SAP.
  • CPA Certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php28,000.00 per month
