About the role

JB Elite Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting our cutting-edge industrial equipment installed at client sites. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform on-site maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment
  2. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of client equipment
  3. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  4. Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to provide technical support and recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements
  5. Maintain detailed records of all service activities and report on key performance metrics
  6. Respond to emergency call-outs and provide 24/7 on-call support as required
  7. Continuously expand your technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
  2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technician in the industrial or manufacturing sector
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and cross-functional teams
  5. Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  6. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
  7. Certification in industrial equipment maintenance or repair is a plus
