Sr. Network Engineer

The Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network design, routing, switching, and security technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network solutions to meet business requirements
  • Develop network documentation and diagrams to facilitate troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Evaluate network performance and implement improvements as needed
  • Monitor network security and implement appropriate measures to protect against threats
  • Provide technical support for network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot network problems and perform root-cause analysis
  • Ensure network uptime and availability
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support

Qualifications:

Education

  • Must be a graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate is an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in Network Engineering or related field
  • Experience on managing or covering escalations

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, and VPN
  • Hands on experience with network hardware including routers, switches, and wireless access points
