About the role

VAST Construction is seeking an experienced Project-In-Charge to lead the delivery of complex construction projects in the Paco Manila City Metro Manila area. As a full-time Project-In-Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning and execution to budget and stakeholder management. This is a critical role that will have a significant impact on the success of our construction projects and the growth of our business.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project execution plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of construction projects
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to meet deadlines and stay within budget
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges, and develop contingency plans to address them
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Mentor and lead a team of project coordinators and site supervisors

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of diverse professionals
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
