RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation, planning, and checking of electrical drawings such as: Main Cable Route Drawing, Cable Tray Layout, Equipment Arrangement Drawing, Equipment Wiring Layout, Lighting and Convenience Outlet Layout, etc. for infrastructure facilities such as commercial and research facilities, schools, public halls, airport facilities, etc.
  • Preparation of Material Take-Off, Cost Estimates, Bill of Quantity
  • Checking of vendor document/drawing such as Electrical Equipment Specification & Assembly Drawing, Control Panel, Schematic Diagram etc.
  • Checking and evaluation of vendor's proposal
  • Site testing and commissioning works including preparation of test reports
  • Conducts Factory Acceptance Test
  • Ensure all outputs and deliverables are following customers and project's requirements, standards, and quality before submission.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS Electrical Eng'g. PRC Licensed Electrical Engineer.
  • With at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical basic and detailed engineering design, and construction design of infrastructure facilities.
  • Having experience in vendor control/management, including checking and review of vendor deliverables, schedule management, etc. is an advantage.
  • Having experience in coordinating/negotiating with customer regarding project requirements, progress/schedule, etc., is an advantage.
  • Well-versed in local and international design codes such as IEC, ANSI, NEMA, JIS, and others.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and AutoCAD software.
  • Having experience with RebroCAD software is an advantage.
  • Having passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 is an advantage.
  • Must be willing to be dispatched in Japan and/or overseas for at least 1 year.
  • Must be willing and interested to work with Japanese counterparts.
  • Must be willing to study and learn the Japanese language to be able to communicate with Japanese counterparts/subcontractors.
  • Must be hardworking, honest, diligent, responsible, and resourceful.
