JOB SUMMARY:

The Civil Works Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising all civil work activities related to the construction and development of the golf course, ensuring that all works are executed according to the project plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements within the set timelines and budget.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise daily civil works operations including grading, excavation, drainage, utilities installation, roadworks, and structural concrete works.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure work is done in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with survey teams, site engineers, and other discipline supervisors (e.g., irrigation, drainage, shaping) to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager for daily tasking and progress updates.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure civil works meet quality and engineering standards.
  • Report and resolve non-conformances or construction issues in a timely manner.
  • Track and report progress of civil work against the schedule.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned scopes in line with project milestones.
  • Enforce site safety rules and practices in compliance with company and government safety regulations.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure workers have proper OOE and training.
  • Maintain accurate site records including daily reports manpower logs, and material usage.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports and documentation for project management.
  • Supervise and manage the performance of laborers, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure optimal use of manpower, materials, and machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related technical course (licensed preferred but not required).

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction; experience in golf course or landscape development is an advantage.

· Strong understanding of site civil works (earthworks, concrete, grading, drainage, etc.).

· Knowledge of construction safety and environmental regulations.

· Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Field-based at Cebu Country Club project site
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions and terrain typical of golf course projects.
  • May require extended hours or weekend work depending on project schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
