Job Summary:

The Painting Head/Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all painting activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with safety regulations. This role oversees the painting team, manages resources, and ensures that the finished work meets client and company specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily painting operations, including surface preparation, priming, and finishing.
  • Assign tasks to painters and monitor progress to ensure schedules and quality standards are met.
  • Inspect surfaces and completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory of painting materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
  • Provide training, guidance, and technical support to the painting team.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and team performance.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to align painting activities with overall project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in painting processes and recommend improvements.
  • Foster teamwork and maintain discipline among painting staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, vocational course, or degree in a related field
  • Proven experience as a Painting Supervisor or similar role in construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, materials, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
