Qualifications

  • At least more than 5 years of proven working experience in project management related to industrial automation in manufacturing, water and wastewater, and energy sector;
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Instrumentation and Control, Electrical, Automation, or related field;
  • Solid experience in handling industrial automation projects related to SCADA/ MES, PLC, DCS, and related system development and integration
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
  • Knowledge & experience in Project Execution Model (PEM) is a plus;
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus;
  • Ability to travel local and foreign;
  • Proven leadership and motivation skills; and
  • Willing to work on flexible time.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Automation Team in executing projects from the initial and planning stage, development, and execution, up to closing and handover to the client.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3-4 years in project management or a lead role.
  • Solid understanding of implementing industrial automation projects from manufacturing, water and wastewater, power and energy, and other industrial sectors.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress;
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget;
  • Coordinate and work with the stakeholders in defining project targets, expectations, and commitments;
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques and report to Management;
  • Work with Technical and Resource Managers and project leads to ensure resource availability and allocation;
  • Carefully plan and identify risks involved in a project to minimize risks;
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure the quality of deliverables;
  • Provide incident management and support project team for the duration of the project.
