OVERVIEW:

The NetSuite Implementation Specialist will play a key role in delivering successful NetSuite implementations with a strong emphasis on the
Revenue Recognition module
and
workflow automation
. This role involves requirement gathering, system configuration, workflow design, data migration, training, and post-go-live support to ensure clients maximize the use of NetSuite for accurate financial reporting and efficient operations.

This position requires deep knowledge of NetSuite functionality, expertise in revenue recognition processes, and the ability to design workflows that streamline business operations while ensuring GAAP compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead NetSuite implementation projects, focusing on
  Revenue Recognition (ARM)
  and workflow automation.
• Configure NetSuite Revenue Recognition settings to align with client accounting practices and GAAP standards.
• Design, build, and optimize
  custom workflows
  to automate approval processes, financial operations, and reporting tasks.
• Analyze client accounting processes and recommend NetSuite solutions to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Manage data migration activities, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation of financial data.
• Create user documentation, workflow guides, and training materials tailored to client needs.
• Deliver client training sessions to ensure effective adoption of revenue and workflow functionalities.
• Provide hands-on support during go-live and initial reporting periods, including reconciliations and financial transaction validation.
• Address post-implementation issues related to revenue recognition and workflows, ensuring system stability and accuracy.
• Monitor project milestones and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain adherence to best practices and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with strong knowledge of GAAP across diverse industries.
• Proven track record managing
  NetSuite implementation projects
  , with hands-on expertise in
  Revenue Recognition (ARM)
  and
  workflow creation/management
  .
• Proficient in NetSuite configuration, saved searches, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research accounting issues, draw logical conclusions, and apply solutions effectively.
• Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills; able to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF statements, etc.) and familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
