Position: QA Automation Specialist

Location: Davao, Philippines (Remote)

We're looking for a QA Automation Specialist to join our growing team

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure top-notch software quality. You'll collaborate closely with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, helping deliver seamless and reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities:


• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and test automation frameworks.


• Design and implement test plans, strategies, and cases for various applications, including web, mobile, and API.


• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure software stability after code changes


• Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure software releases are reliable.


• Analyze test results, identify software weaknesses and bugs, and document issues with detailed reports for development teams.


• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and improve the development process.

Qualifications:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.

Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java), automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman), and testing frameworks.

Experience working within an Agile methodology and integrating testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Experience with various types of testing, including UI, functional, API, performance, and load testing.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify the root causes of defects.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report test results and collaborate with teams.

  • Work Schedule: 3 PM – 12 MN

  • Weekends Off: Fixed
