About the role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our growing engineering team at A.M. Dela Cruz General-Engineering Services' in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

What you'll be doing

  1. Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to support the development of engineering projects
  2. Interpreting design briefs, specifications and other technical documents to translate requirements into accurate CAD outputs
  3. Modifying and updating existing CAD drawings and designs based on revisions and changes
  4. Collaborating with engineers, designers and project stakeholders to ensure drawings and designs meet all requirements
  5. Maintaining a organised filing system for CAD files and project documentation
  6. Providing support and guidance to junior team members on the use of CAD software and techniques

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a CAD Operator.
  2. Preferably an engineering or architecture graduate.
  3. Proficient in using AutoCAD and other industry-standard CAD software packages
  4. Strong technical drawing and drafting skills, with the ability to interpret engineering schematics and specifications
  5. Good understanding of engineering principles, materials and construction techniques
  6. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  7. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with the engineering team
