Job Title Finance Assistant - AP/AR, Analysis and Reporting

Shift Schedule Full-time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM AEST, Monday to Friday

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Finance Assistant to handle a mix of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial analysis tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day transactional finance while also contributing to financial modeling and reporting. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys a diverse set of responsibilities and is eager to grow within a dynamic business environment.

Primary Tasks

Accounts Payable & Receivable

● Manage the accounts inbox, ensuring all communications and invoices are handled promptly.

● Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

● Process accounts payable, including invoice management, supplier onboarding, and tracking technology subscriptions.

● Manage accounts receivable by sending payment reminders and logging cash collections.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

● Manage and update financial models to support budgeting and forecasting.

● Prepare and report on budget-versus-actuals analysis.

● Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

● Act as a key liaison between the finance team and other business departments, ensuring new initiatives (e.g., new tools, staff, or partnerships) are integrated correctly.

Required Experience

● Proven experience in an accounts payable/receivable role.

● Experience with financial analysis, including creating and managing financial models.

● Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately.

Required Education

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

● High level of spoken, written, and comprehension skills.

● Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

● A proactive and inquisitive mindset, with a willingness to ask questions and take on diverse tasks.

● An interest in automation and leveraging new technologies to improve financial processes.

● Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and switch between tasks effectively.

Required Software/Systems

● Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

● Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling and analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
