About the role

As the Project In-Charge at Grand Apex Constructions Inc., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects in Binondo, Manila City, Metro Manila. This full-time position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage all aspects of project management, from planning and coordination to execution and completion.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets and quality standards
  • Coordinate and oversee all on-site construction activities, including managing subcontractors, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that arise
  • Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and the broader construction team to provide updates and address concerns
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively implementing contingency plans to minimise disruptions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record of successful project management experience in the construction industry, preferably in the Project Management sub-sector
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience in construction is required
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, with the ability to analyse data and provide comprehensive reports
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree is required for this position
  • Valid engineering licence is required
