Responsibilities:
  • Assist lawyers in completing application forms and other documentary requirements for various government agencies.
  • Provide checklists of requirements to lawyers, as requested.
  • Review and ensure the completeness and accuracy of documentary requirements prior to filing or submission to government offices.
  • Conduct step-by-step filing and follow-ups for permits, registrations, clearances, certificates, and insurance with government agencies, including but not limited to: Local Government Units (LGUs), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), barangay, municipal, or city halls
  • Provide regular updates on work progress to the supervising lawyer or designated point of contact.
  • Prepare and liquidate filing fees and daily transportation expenses, and report directly to the Accounting Department.
  • Draft legal documents such as correspondence, affidavits, minutes of meetings, and similar materials.
  • Organize and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems for legal documents and records.
  • Attend stockholders' and board of directors' meetings upon request; prepare related documentation including minutes, Secretary's Certificates, General Information Sheets (for SEC filing), amendments to Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws, auditor responses, and transmittal letters or emails.
  • Coordinate with SEC liaison officers to obtain status updates on pending filings.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of any 4-year course, paralegal certification preferred
  • Experience: Work experience is not necessary, but is an advantage
