Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team in Dumaguete City. This role is responsible for managing accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with government and internal financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations:

Perform daily, month-end, quarterly, and annual accounting processes

Journal Entries & Documentation:

Prepare journal vouchers and maintain the general proofsheet to ensure accurate financial records.

Tax Compliance:

Generate Form 2307 for tax withholding, process online tax remittances, and manage check clearing activities.

Board & Management Reporting:

Compile and present financial reports for board meetings, including:

  • Comparative Balance Sheets
  • Income Statements
  • Compliance Ratios
  • Other management information system (MIS) reports as required

Government Contributions:

Handle online remittances for government-mandated contributions such as SSS, PAG-IBIG, and PhilHealth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel
  • Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and government remittance procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
