About the role

As a Barista with Philippine Coffee Advocates, a leading hospitality and tourism company based in Metro Manila, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality coffee beverages. In this full-time role, you will be an integral part of our mission to promote Philippine coffee culture and showcase the best local coffee beans and brewing techniques.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and specialty drinks
  • Operate and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all guests
  • Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest coffee trends and brewing methods
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the overall cafe experience and promote Philippine coffee culture

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista or in a similar coffee-related role
  • Passion for coffee and a deep understanding of coffee origin, roasting, and brewing
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanour
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
