Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Basic Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with basic software testing concepts such as functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).

  • Exposure to or basic understanding of testing tools like Selenium, Postman, or JMeter is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Job Description:

Test Planning and Design:

  • Analyze product requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Define testing strategies for functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Test Execution:

  • Execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Document and report defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Verify fixes and ensure no regression issues.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the product vision and requirements.
  • Provide feedback to improve product design, user experience, and functionality.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure software meets established quality standards and end-user expectations.
  • Perform root cause analysis for identified issues and suggest improvements.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Provide test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
