What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitoring to identify and resolve any potential problems
  • Prepare and maintain detailed progress reports, site logs, and other necessary documentation
  • Assist in the development and implementation of construction plans, schedules, and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure effective integration of engineering plans and specifications
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure to meet deadlines
