Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Licensed Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures, infrastructure, and public works projects. The ideal candidate will have a valid professional engineering license and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project management, and construction standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, plan, and oversee construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, and drainage systems.
  • Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies, including soil testing and environmental impact assessments.
  • Prepare engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and environmental laws.
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure project is completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Review and approve project drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Use engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, or similar tools.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and drafters.
  • Prepare documentation for permitting and licensing agencies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Valid Professional Engineer (PE) License or equivalent civil engineering license.
  • Minimum [X] years of experience in civil engineering design and construction.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of engineering codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AASHTO, ASTM).
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with public infrastructure or municipal projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and green building practices.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and cost control.

Work Environment:
  • Office and field environments.
  • May require travel to job sites and extended hours during critical project phases.
