Job Summary

This role ensures timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to company policies and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse or production teams
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors
  • Track deliveries and resolve any supply issues or delays
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams for budgeting and cost control
  • Stay updated on market trends and alternative products or suppliers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in purchasing or procurement (1–3 years preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Attributes

  • Knowledge of import/export regulations (if applicable)
  • Experience in logistics or inventory management
  • Familiarity with ISO or other quality standards but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
