Job Summary
This role ensures timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to company policies and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse or production teams
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors
- Track deliveries and resolve any supply issues or delays
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams for budgeting and cost control
- Stay updated on market trends and alternative products or suppliers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement (1–3 years preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Attributes
- Knowledge of import/export regulations (if applicable)
- Experience in logistics or inventory management
- Familiarity with ISO or other quality standards but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php14, Php15,000.00 per month
