Captivate LLC is an advertising-media company that delivers branded content and video-first ad placements in premium office-building and luxury residential environments, reaching an influential, upscale audience where they work and live.
Role Overview
As a National Advertising Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and closing advertising revenue from national and multi-market clients and agencies. You will position Captivate's unique platform of elevator-and-lobby video screens in premium real-estate venues as a strategic medium for brands and agency media buying teams. You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing deals—and collaborate cross-functionally with campaign operations, research, sales strategy and account teams to deliver best-in-class results.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop and secure new business from national advertisers, agency trading desks, media buying teams, and brand marketing organizations.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with senior decision-makers at advertising agencies and brand marketing teams.
- Present Captivate's value proposition & media platform (office-building / residential video network) in a compelling, consultative way.
- Meet or exceed assigned annual revenue quotas through a combination of new business growth and expansion of existing clients.
- Develop proposals, craft media plans, negotiate contracts and close deals with national and multi-market scope.
- Collaborate with internal teams (campaign operations, research/insights, sales strategy, creative) to ensure campaigns are well executed and clients are satisfied.
- Maintain CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) of pipeline, forecasts, activity, and sales progress.
- Stay informed on out-of-home (OOH), digital video, programmatic media trends and competitive landscape.
- Travel as needed to client meetings, industry events, and agency offices.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in advertising, marketing, business or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years (or more) of advertising sales experience, ideally with national clients or agencies (OOH or video-driven media).
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a national / multi-market role.
- Strong experience selling media solutions (especially video, OOH, digital) to senior agency/brand stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills; ability to engage C-suite or senior marketing executives.
- Comfortable with self-driven prospecting, building pipeline, managing long sales cycles and closing complex deals.
- Proficiency in CRM usage (Salesforce or equivalent) for pipeline/forecast management.
- Knowledge of programmatic media, cross-platform solutions, and evolving advertising landscape a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel (domestic) as required.
