Network and Infrastructure Unit Head - Bank - Up to 170K in MakatiWe are hiring for the position of Head of Infrastructure and Network for a bank client located in Makati. This is an onsite role with a monthly salary of up to 170K.Benefits include a 13th month pay and a 0.5% annual bonus. The work schedule is Monday to Friday.

Job Description:The Network and Infrastructure Unit Head will lead, manage, coach, and mentor the company's network team. Responsibilities include supporting all aspects of network systems and operations, including sub-systems. The role involves leading the design, implementation, and management of network infrastructure and its components.

The candidate will also oversee strategic planning aligned with the company's objectives to adapt to new developments in the field. Additionally, the role entails administering firewalls, security policies, internal network policies, and managing significant site moves if necessary. The Unit Head will also work on scaling the network operations management practice to serve the bank's needs and establish best-in-class services for customers and partners, such as health facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:Support initiatives to improve overall network performance, cost efficiency, and quality. Develop and implement standards and processes for Network Operations Center (NOC). Lead in resolving complex and escalated complaints.

Support validation, deployment, and optimization of network nodes. Develop, mentor, and coach network talent. Ensure infrastructure technology recoverability to support business processes.

Lead evaluation, design, and implementation of firewall and IDS/IPS systems. Provide recommendations based on monitoring results and forensic analysis. Grow and develop the network practice within the organization.

Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the banking or financial industry. At least 8 years of experience involving VPN, cloud implementation, and routing protocols.

At least 8 years of experience with IPSEC, DHCP, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, QoS, and RFP/RFI software and systems. Strong understanding of OSI or TCP/IP models. Proven ability to document protocols and configurations thoroughly.

Certifications such as CCNP and CISSP are highly desirable and valued. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
