Schedule: Monday to Friday (07:00 AM-04:00 PM PHT)

Responsibilities:

  • Standardise and streamline tender submissions to provide a uniform company theme and maintain high-quality of submission for all tenders
  • Assist Estimators in preparing tender submissions including quantity take off, presentation, submission, editing and drafting to ensure a uniform / standardised approach to all tender submissions
  • Assist in construction staging development with Estimators and provide best methods to illustrate and communicate key messages within construction staging
  • Prioritise tender duties in consultation with the Pre-Construction Manager to ensure focus on tenders provides maximum impact to our tender success rate
  • Design, manage and liaise with external suppliers as required to produce high-quality printing or production of special submissions prints if required e.g. specially printed tabs, folders, tender covers etc.
  • Review and edit job specific executive summary completed by the estimating team
  • Assist in the preparation, structure, and development of tender interview presentations
  • In consultation with the Estimators, assist with the completion of submission schedules required for tender submissions
  • Interpret scope of works document and be able to formulate Bill of Quantities based on project drawings and scope
  • Maintain a record of tenders including correspondence with the client
  • Carry out competitor and client analysis as requested by Estimators to improve understanding of the Client's operation and construction needs and address these requirements within the tender submissions
  • Upon receipt of tender, undertake thorough review to determine any missing documentation, and in conjunction with Estimators, issue RFIs and liaise with Client
  • Maintain procurement register
  • In line with project due date, complete RFQs (Request for Quotation)
  • Ensure Bluebeam Revu measures are accurate, organized, interpretable and complete
  • Ensure Estimating Coordinators are accurately filing subcontractors and suppliers' quotations as per the Symal Contractors filing systems
  • Ensure all relevant tender information is reviewed and all project specific allowances are raised and/or allowed for in the tender
