Quanity Estimator

DUTIES & TASKS

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment based on project plans and specifications
• Analyze project drawings and documents to determine accurate quantity take-offs
• Review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations for cost efficiency
• Assist in preparing project budgets, bid proposals, and tender documents
• Monitor project costs and update estimates as needed throughout construction
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate cost projections
• Maintain records of estimated and actual costs for reference and reporting
• Identify potential cost-saving measures and risks in project execution
• Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by management

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• At least 2–3 years of experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam)
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and technical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
