Food Safety and Hygiene:
- Maintaining cleanliness:They keep their work area clean and sanitized, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Proper food handling:They handle food safely, ensuring proper storage and minimizing cross-contamination.
Inventory and Supplies:
- Stocking stations: They set up their stations with necessary ingredients and supplies before service.
- Monitoring inventory: They track inventory levels and report shortages to ensure smooth service.
Communication and Teamwork:
- Communicating with kitchen staff:They communicate effectively with other kitchen staff (chefs, servers) to coordinate orders and ensure smooth service.
- Working as a team:They collaborate with other kitchen staff to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Other Responsibilities:
- Following instructions: They follow instructions from superiors (chef, sous chef) and complete tasks as assigned.
