  • can handle multiple orders simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and ensuring each dish is prepared correctly.
  • Portion control and minimizing waste: adhere to portion sizes and minimize waste to manage costs.

Food Safety and Hygiene:

  • Maintaining cleanliness:They keep their work area clean and sanitized, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Proper food handling:They handle food safely, ensuring proper storage and minimizing cross-contamination.

Inventory and Supplies:

  • Stocking stations: They set up their stations with necessary ingredients and supplies before service.
  • Monitoring inventory: They track inventory levels and report shortages to ensure smooth service.

Communication and Teamwork:

  • Communicating with kitchen staff:They communicate effectively with other kitchen staff (chefs, servers) to coordinate orders and ensure smooth service.
  • Working as a team:They collaborate with other kitchen staff to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Following instructions: They follow instructions from superiors (chef, sous chef) and complete tasks as assigned.
  • Assisting with cleaning: They participate in cleaning tasks, including cleaning cooking surfaces and equipment.
  • Adaptability: They work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
