The role

As an Assistant Store Supervisor at Select Goods' in Laoag City Ilocos Norte, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our retail store. This full-time position is responsible for assisting the Store Supervisor in managing the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist the Store Supervisor in overseeing daily store operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer relations
  2. Ensure the store is well-stocked, organised, and maintained to provide a seamless shopping experience for customers
  3. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  4. Collaborate with the Store Supervisor to monitor and analyse sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive sales and improve store performance
  5. Assist in the training and development of store associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  6. Participate in the implementation of marketing initiatives and promotional activities
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment, with a proven track record of success
  2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  3. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  4. Proficient in analysing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to improve store performance
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
  6. Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and visually appealing store
  7. Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
