Procurement and Supplier Management


• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to meet the organization's material and service requirements, ensuring they meet quality and cost standards.


• Generate, process, and monitor Purchase Orders (P.O.s) based on approved Purchase Requests (PRs), ensuring compliance with procurement policies and timelines.


• Follow up on order deliveries, ensuring timely receipt of materials and addressing any discrepancies or delays with suppliers.


• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, facilitating effective communication and resolving any issues related to order fulfillment and quality.


• Assess supplier performance regularly through metrics such as delivery timeliness, quality of goods, and responsiveness to inquiries, providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Employee Services


• Act as a liaison between employees and suppliers, ensuring that end-user needs are accurately communicated and met.


• Support employees in identifying and selecting appropriate suppliers for their procurement needs, accommodating both urgent and routine requests.


• Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities, including Purchase Orders, supplier communications, and delivery schedules, ensuring easy access for auditing and reporting.


• Provide guidance to employees on procurement processes, tools, and best practices to enhance their understanding and compliance with purchasing policies. Other Related Tasks


• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the PCP team and ensure efficient operations.


• Assist with special projects or initiatives related to PCP team as needed.

Skills

  1. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.

  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with procurement or inventory management software.

  3. Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  4. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

  5. Problem-solving skills with the ability to address procurement challenges and handle supplier issues.

  6. Understanding of procurement processes, policies, and best practices, with a focus on timely delivery and quality assurance.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.


• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.


• Hands-on experience in generating and processing Purchase Orders (P.O.s) and Purchase Requests (PRs).


• Proven ability to source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery standards.


• Experience in coordinating with suppliers to monitor and expedite deliveries as needed.


• Background in maintaining accurate procurement records, including order tracking and documentation.


• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred) to understand production-related procurement needs.
