Excited to share that we have a new Bookkeeper position working with a successful, growing AU Accounting Firm.  This form is growing their offshore team. Australian Bookkeeping experience is essential.

Job Description The role will primarily focus on completing bookkeeping activities, with the potential opportunity for development into tax accounting (subject to performance).

Responsibilities

  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Coding of transactions
  • AR and AP processing (Invoice and Bills processing)
  • Payroll and payment processing
  • BAS/IAS
  • Monthly closing of books
  • Ad-hoc tasks and reconciliation requests from client

Requirements

  • Graduate BS Accountancy or Accounting related Degree
  • At least 2+ years Australian Bookkeeping work experience
  • Sound working knowledge of Xero, XPM / FYI, MYOB and other accounting software
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Can work independently with high attention to detail

Salary level will depend on technical skills and experience.
