1. Educational Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Food Technology, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
  • A Master's Degree in Business Management or related discipline is an advantage.

2. Work Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the food manufacturing, bakery, or retail industry.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-branch bakery operations or production facilities.
  • Experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and quality assurance within a food business setup.

3. Technical and Functional Skills
  • Strong knowledge of bakery operations, including production flow, product quality, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Proficient in operations planning, sales forecasting, and cost control management.
  • Familiar with inventory management systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and MS Office / ERP tools.
  • Ability to implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for both production and retail operations.
  • Understanding of Philippine labor laws, occupational safety, and food regulatory requirements (BFAD, DOLE, LGU, etc.).

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills; capable of supervising diverse teams (production, logistics, branch staff).
  • Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Skilled in coaching and performance management to improve productivity and employee engagement.

5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Capable of building strong relationships with area supervisors, production staff, suppliers, and senior management.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle feedback and ensure excellent service quality.

6. Personal Attributes
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all business dealings.
  • Flexible, adaptive, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willing to travel to branch locations and work extended hours when required.
  • Passionate about bakery operations, continuous improvement, and product innovation.
