Overview

A growing construction-focused company is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to ensure accurate and competitive cost estimates. The role supports project planning, client proposals, and budget tracking, while fostering strong supplier and subcontractor relationships.


Job Highlights

  • Monthly Rate: Php 60,000+
  • Number of Paid Hours Per Week: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST with 1-hour unpaid break)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (1-hour unpaid break)
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Source and compare prices for materials, labor, and subcontractor services.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather accurate data.
  • Prepare bid proposals and ensure timely submission to clients.
  • Update cost databases and maintain records of past projects for reference.
  • Monitor project budgets and support in cost-control efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or trades industry.
  • 2–3 years of experience with US construction (required).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills for working with suppliers and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Background in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
