About the role

Good Pastry Café in San Juan City Metro Manila is seeking a talented and experienced Cook to join our dynamic and passionate team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious meals, desserts and other baked goods to delight our customers. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and great benefits.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and cooking a range of meals, pastas, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards
  2. Ensuring the highest quality of ingredients and presentation for all items
  3. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
  4. Collaborating with the Head Chef and Pastry Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes
  5. Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  6. Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry
  2. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food preparation, and presentation
  3. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  4. Good communication and teamwork skills
  5. Passion for creating high-quality pastries and desserts
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
