LH Paragon, Inc. is looking for a seasoned Financial Controller (Hybrid) to join our Finance Department who will be responsible for managing Accounting, Audit, and/or Tax operations. This role requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in financial management and reporting, along with hands-on experience in leading SAP implementation and configuration projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Accounting: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management.

2. Audit: Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial information. Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Implement recommendations from audit findings to improve processes and controls. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal controls.

3. Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3–5 years in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  2. Prior experience in any of the Big 4 Accounting/Audit Firms is highly desirable.
  3. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis tools, strong attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP systems—preferably SAP or QuickBooks.
  4. Proven capability to lead teams, manage high-pressure situations, and work effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  5. Strong, well-grounded analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, paired with clear and effective communication skills.
  6. A high standard of ethics and integrity is critical for this position.
  7. CPA certification is required; a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is an advantage.
  8. Willing to work onsite in Mandaue City and travel as needed.
