About this role, we are seeking a Financial Processes and Controls Specialist who will analyze, design, and improve financial workflows and internal controls to enhance efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance for our clients. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Cebu City. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and analyzing existing financial processes, workflows, and internal controls to identify inefficiencies, risks, and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Analysis: Develop and recommend strategies to streamline operations, enhance accuracy, and strengthen the control environment.
  • Control Design: Design, implement, and test financial controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, accounting standards, and policies. Safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Implementation: Coordinate and implement process improvement strategies with internal and client stakeholders, ensuring alignment with standards and cost management. Support the implementation of new financial systems or upgrades.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including process reports, policies, flowcharts, and control matrices. Facilitate training for client process champions to ensure effective adoption.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and enhance the overall client experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Audit, Finance, Management Accounting, or related fields.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) are a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting processing.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in internal control audits.
  • With exposure to BS, IS, and Cashflow presentation.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Visio or other process mapping tools.
