Nexus Group Global, a leading offshore labour hire company, is seeking dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineers from Manila, Philippines, to join our team as independent contractors.

You will be placed with premier renewable energy installation companies based in Melbourne, Australia, working under Nexus Group Global to contribute to innovative solar, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration projects that advance sustainable energy solutions.

We are looking for reliable remote workers who are committed to delivering high-quality work and are fully equipped with reliable high-speed internet, a phone, a laptop, and a headset to ensure seamless collaboration with our Australian host employers.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects involving the Solar Victoria rebate and loan pre-approvals, as well as the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program for hot water and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute solar, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration projects for Australian host employers.

Oversee solar and battery grid connections, ensuring efficient and compliant installations.

Conduct emergency backstop testing to maintain system reliability.

Handle DNSP (Distribution Network Service Provider) pre-approvals and documentation.

Manage post-installation connections to ensure seamless integration with Australian energy grids.

Design renewable energy systems tailored to project specifications and client needs.

Perform compliance checks to meet Australian standards, including AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 4777.

Assist with Solar Victoria rebate and loan pre-approvals to support clients in accessing financial incentives.

Support applications and compliance for the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, focusing on hot water and air conditioning system upgrades.

Collaborate remotely with Australian teams, providing regular updates and maintaining clear communication.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preffered

Proven experience in solar and battery systems, grid connections, and renewable energy projects.

Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and compliance requirements (e.g., AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 4777).

Familiarity with DNSP processes, Solar Victoria rebate and loan pre-approvals, and the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program is highly desirable.

Excellent project management and system design skills, with a focus on precision and quality.

Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration with Australian teams.

Ability to work independently as an independent contractor, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

Reliable high-speed internet connection, a working phone, a laptop, and a headset for professional communication.

Commitment to maintaining a professional remote work setup and adhering to project schedules.
