The Senior Civil Engineer will prepare the civil design works with a strong focus on earthworks and site grading modeling, pavement design, site drainage, and utility systems. The job requires at least 8 years of professional experience in civil and site development design, preferably with proven expertise in airport projects, large-scale land development, and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and modeling of earthworks, airport pavements, roadway alignments, site grading, and cut-and-fill optimization using Civil 3D and related software.
  • Prepare designs for airport-related infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons, access roads, and drainage facilities.
  • Integrate GIS data and spatial analysis into civil and site development designs.
  • Conduct design reviews of geotechnical reports, topographic surveys, hydrology studies, and ensure recommendations are incorporated effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with local (DPWH) and international standards (AASHTO, ICAO, FAA for airports) in design and documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and provide technical support during project execution.
  • Mentor and guide design teams in best practices, workflows, and software applications.

Special Skills:

  • Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and civil design software (experience with 12D and GIS platforms is an advantage).
  • Strong command of earthworks modeling, grading optimization, hydrology, and hydraulic design.

  • Knowledge of airport design standards, land development planning, and infrastructure design codes.

  • Extensive exposure to airport projects, land development, civil infrastructure, and site development works.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply innovative design solutions.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong communication and leadership capabilities.
