Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must be a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Must be a licensed civil engineer
  • Must have experience of at least eight (8) to ten (10) years with mixed-use/corporate office projects as a contractor or construction project management
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • With experience in structural foundations (mat footing, pile driving), superstructure, and overall structural works.
  • Must have experience in structural concreting and rebar works
  • Must have experience with estimation and billing evaluation
  • Knowledgeable with local code
  • Able to communicate professionally and efficiently in both spoken and written formats.
  • Must be willing to be assigned within and outside Metro Manila.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implements the Construction Project Management (CPM) Plan for the Project and ensures that contractors and suppliers comply with the established procedures and instructions, ensuring the expeditious implementation and timely delivery of the Project.
  • Attends and may lead the following meetings, ideally every week.
  • Prepares and issues minutes when his presence is required in a meeting.
  • Conducts regular project walk-through with the contractor to check on the progress of works and spot potential problems in architectural, civil, and structural make-up.
  • Advises the Construction Project Manager (CPM), Owner/Developer, and the contractors of any constraints and critical factors that may cause delay in the completion of the project, and recommends appropriate solutions.
  • Handles the Design Addenda, Construction Manager's Instructions (CMI's), Requests for Information (RFI's), Substitution Requests, and the like in cases necessary for proper contract management.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
