Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collection Associate to manage the end-to-end collections process for our clients. This role involves consolidating member invoices, ensuring timely communication with customers, processing payments, and coordinating fund distribution to members. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in collections, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry, and the ability to manage client relationships professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate multiple member invoices into a single invoice for customers.
  • Manage all communications with customers regarding outstanding balances until payment is processed.
  • Collect payments and ensure accurate and timely distribution of funds back to members, deducting applicable fees upfront.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and payment statuses.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely invoice generation.
  • Provide clients with updates on payment status and resolve any disputes or discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare regular reports on collections performance and outstanding receivables.
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency in collections operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections is an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply as long as they are highly trainable and eager to learn (experience in the logistics/transportation industry is a plus)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and familiarity with invoicing or accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end collections processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience handling consolidated invoicing for multiple members/vendors.
  • Knowledge of payment processing and fund distribution procedures.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific billing processes
