JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional license is an advantage
  • Experience in in automotive (Trucks, buses, PUVs) or heavy equipment sales is a plus

JOB SUMMARY:

The Vehicle Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses, and public utility vehicles (PUVs). The role involves product presentation, unit customization, financing coordination, and after-sales support. The position requires regular travel across Mindanao to support business development and client servicing.

This role is entitled to commissions and sales incentives in addition to basic pay.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote and sell trucks, buses, and PUVs; offer standardization and customization options.
  • Conduct market research and identify prospective clients.
  • Assist clients with vehicle selection, quotations, and financing.
  • Negotiate prices, specifications, and delivery terms.
  • Coordinate with banks and internal departments for financing and release.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Travel extensively within Mindanao to develop and service accounts.
  • Responsible for the proper documentation, and timely and full collection of client's accounts.
  • Coordinate with banks, financing partners, and the internal Credit & Collection team.
  • Assist in resolving collection issues and payment delays as needed.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned from time to time.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of truck and bus specifications
  • Consultative selling and negotiation expertise

  • Basic financial and numerical analysis skills
